Hey there my name is Claire Sauls!

Sometimes I have a hard time answering the question “Who Am I?” so I thought…I simply have to show you! Here is the earliest video evidence of me performing, it’s me singing “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” while also directing my mom behind the camera—arm up meant “go.” I truly feel like it shows who I am in the most awesome way possible.

I’m from Peachtree Corners, Georgia (right outside Atlanta), being from the south but also near a major city meant I grew up surrounded by a mix of music, performance art, and community. Thats why long car rides will always be my thing, because i’m always on aux, one day i’m blasting Megan Thee Stallion, the next day it’s Barry Manilow.

Now I’m a Junior Musical Theatre major at James Madison University (GO DUKES!!) and I couldn’t be more grateful. When I’m not performing, I’m probably at a coffee shop, with friends, hanging out with my dog named Macklemore, at a JMU football game, singing in my a cappella group, or casually making an appearance on Family Feud with my family (we didn’t win, but we were invited back for being iconic).

As an artist and creative, I strive to create and collaborate in spaces that are inspiring, supportive, and creatively fulfilling. I am passionate about uplifting women, championing diverse and inclusive storytelling, and working in environments that recognize artists for their depth, talent, and individuality.
